There are eight of us, or nine if you include “the other one”, and we live in a harmony, mostly, in the north of England.
We were pulled one day away from the mundane world into a fantasy world, part of her, Friday’s creation, partly like nothing we’d seen before.
This is that story as written by Friday, but by all of us as well, as we save her from the darkness within and without, supported by the kindly people of her world and the one who walks with us, its shadow over us all, a shield and saviour.
